Taking his place on the throne, (the drummer’s throne that is),Raymond Carl Garrobo. Ray’s had show biz in his blood from the very beginning. He was born in Hollywood.......REALLY. The facts of just how Ray came to pick up his first pair of drum sticks are linked to his absorbing his families music collection that spanned various musical styles. Ray’s dad liked Jazz and Latin, his mom is a 50’s and 60’s fan, and his sister is a Top 40 purist.  

Ray loves The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Three Dog Night, Led Zeppelin, all that  stuff.

Ray has honed his skills not only as a drummer, but expanded into singing, composing and producing. Prior to joining The Answer, Ray recorded his first CD, "So Close, Yet So Far Away", which he composed, produced, sang and

played every instrument.

In his travels, playing as what Ray describes as a "hired gun" for other bands, he has played in some of the better known venues of the country, that the likes of Elvis, Frank Sinatra and The Doors have also graced. Weary of "the road" and wanting to spend more time at home, Ray began to look for a dedicated group of guys to settle in with.  Tada!
